Ah well another journal of my fairly boring life
(I just want to get that other one off my front page lol)

uhm well work is the order of the day. pretty boring. Been reading Ursula K. LeGuin's "A Wizard of Earthsea". Really good book. I may scan up some art that I've been working on, its mostly just scraps though. I just sent off my first payment for NC State. And I'm bored .

well I have successfully graduated from high school
time to earn some cash for college, I've already got $4000 set to go, now I need about 6k more. btw, I'm posting this journal from my new macbook pro which I received from my older sister as a graduation gift. Its meant to be for college but eh, its the only thing of mine that will get internet at the moment, my LAN line is down for the count due to weather. Sucks but oh well, time to buy a new one.
on top of my 4k for college i got about $190 in spending cash, will probably end up paying for my new net wire with that, or some games or sumthin. Dunno, still seeing what is necessity and what's not. But yeah so far it'll be a busy but fun summer before college.

Off to NC State University

**Brushes off the dust...** Man, its been awhile since I wrote anything...almost a whole month XD

Well I've decided on going to NC State since I was not accepted at Vanderbilt, which is probably a good thing since it would've been one helluva job to pay for college at Vandy. I will be starting off in the Computer Engineering curriculum which ought to be a lot work but also a lot of fun for me.

Other than, that I'm just getting started with the light plot setup and design for my school's two upcoming productions. One is a student creation for our black box theater concerning the Iraq war, the other will be "You Can't Take It With You", which is a fun comedy-drama done on our main stage. I'll be running lights and setting up the pyro effects for that show.

I've not had much time to do anything more than scribble with my drawing.

Now I'm just really tired. I've had a pretty rough weekend and I've got two really loaded weeks ahead, what with two plays to run lights for and 3 AP exams next week. But other than that, it's senior year and its three weeks to the end of school. Woot!

Woot, I got into NC State

Now I wait till Tuesday to hear back from Vanderbilt, so yeah, if I am accepted there I will be going no matter how I have to find the payments.

Other than that, I don't have high hopes of getting in, since my GPA doesn't exactly meet their standards, but if I do get in their I will be happy.

Not sure what else I've got to say that is news...so... may as well end the journal now.

Just wanted to update my journal... pretty boring ain't I...

Well, since I hear from NC State on the 30th I figure I might as well mention that, if I get in, I will be majoring in Computer Engineering. I figure even if I do get into Vanderbilt, there's no chance in hell that I will be able to pay for it with it out a lot of help... so yeah that makes NC State the best deal as far as I can tell. I've been accepted at both my fall backs already (Emory & Henry and Randolph Macon) but I'd rather go somewhere that I can both afford and gain a solid CE degree from.
I may minor in other things, not sure yet...
Anyway that's pretty much all I had to say.
